People from over 90 different countries have attended IGI's Diamond Courses and Colored Stones Courses in Antwerp.

Gemology Training Courses are offered in English, French, Italian, Hindi, Korean or Dutch, with a translator available in Japanese, Russian, Spanish or Chinese.

Following a theoretical introduction, all courses are mostly practical. The Rough Diamond Courses and Polished Diamond Courses last one or two weeks and the Colored Stones Course lasts one week.

The number of participants per course is generally limited to twelve attendants, to allow the teachers to spend a maximum amount of time with each student.
