This service is unique to IGI and specializes in improving quality, polish and proportions of diamonds. One should always remember that even though diamond is the hardest of all minerals, it may chip or get light abrasions after it has been set in a mounting and worn.

IGI repairs diamonds that have been damaged as a result of a multitude of different scenarios. Additionally, our master polishers are experts in re-modeling diamonds that have out of date cutting styles and/or poor facet arrangements.

A well proportioned diamond has proven to show much better light return thanks to changes in angle combinations and overall improvement of polish and symmetry.
